Friendster is getting lame, though I login almost everyday, there's nothing much in the profiles that I could have fun with.
I love these chinese lions btw: http://www.estatelions.com
Anyway, friendster, login everyday, check inboxes, which, surprise surprise, practically nobody sent me any mail. Well, that is to be expected, with the solitude and all. So, on to the next point in the agenda, updates. I usually ignore profile updates, and blogs are just boring... except mine! :D (I should put more pics in this blog.) Well, anyway, I look for updates on photos mostly. I like to see my friend's faces, especially the chicks. (Yeah, so they'd say I'm not gay, which, I'm not... really... Not not really gay but really not, gay, well, I am gay, but in the flintstones old fashioned meaning of the word) "Have a gay old tiiiiime!" Yeah, photos are gay! :) Especially if you're obsessed with someone, or stalking ... hmmm ... But then again, there aren't usually that much photos uploaded into friendsters. 1-2 at most added to their friendster photos. One nice thing about FS is its ability to grab photos. You can put a lot of everyone else's photos into your photo section. (not the photo album) The photo album... yeah, that was silly. You got friendster photos and then there's friendster photo album. Which is to me, a waste of space. Just put them into one. Last time I check they only give you 50 megs of space in the photo albums. Just use Y!Photos. Unlimited photos, unlimited size. I wish FS would give unlimited photos, so people would put more photos into their account. Well, not everyone ran out of the 50 spaces FS gave yet. But, it's coming... it's also annoying when people don't put their photos on FS. Like when I see a name that I recognize but the photo is not his/her/anything-in-between. I had to click it, then it turns out it's someone else. Grrrr. .. ALRIGHT, so I don't put my photo meself, but that is another matter. It's not everyone else's problem, it's me. Hehehehe The priviledge you get when you're in solitude is selfishness :P
After photos, there's not much else to do in friendster. I have to go friendsurfing to find new friends. Well, friends I already know, but not yet connected into my FS account. I got a slight inferiority complex and fear of rejection, but so far, there hasn't been any friend request rejected. There's one but after I told the person who I am (s/he knows me) the request went thru.
I wish fs would put more comments spaces and not just for testimonials. Like, you can comment on people's profile, photos, etc. not just the testimony and blog. (indonesians calls it testi, the first time I heard it I thought of the testicals that 47% of human beings were born with)
Though baseline, this technology is awesome. I see it as the evolution of personal sites. Ihope in the future, friendster-like sites would become compatible with one another. Lika the steps messenger take to enable inter-provider compatibility. So far blogs are far ahead. But that is for another spot. stop. tops. post.
